Ooh, predictions :)

1. Yes. Well, slowing down anyway.

2. Ditto.

3. Mmmmaybe. They may hit regulatory issues because unlike iTunes they've already allowed that ecosystem to flourish and may get slapped on the wrist for practising monopolistic suppression of business.

4. No. Although there are alterations to the viral channels coming through, what will happen is an alteration of the kinds of content sharing through those channels. There's not much evidence as yet (quite the opposite in fact) that Facebook intends to become a portal.

5. No way. They'll kill their development community overnight if they do that and reduce any impetus for anyone to make Facebook games again. Facebook isn't a portal. It's not Xbox Live on the web.

6. Yep.

7. Indeed. They have a large number advantage.

8. Yes. That's what we're banking on too.

9. iTablet is going to be a rush platform, just like iPhone. Interestingly, however, there's a lot of play being given to destination sites that use external authentication (like Facebook Connect and Twitter) to leverage viral effects while having more control over their own development. So the web itself is the new platform.

10. Probably. Expect new hardware to try and re-ignite it.

11. Yep. Much the same as my reply to #9

12. Um. Who knows :)

> The Internet is the new Facebook

Right now, on the other hand, there are plenty of browser-based games that are moving to the facebook. And many of successful facebook games would have little sence outside of the platform: mob wars with total strangers around aren't such a good idea. These game use existing social relationships, but they aren't designed to help you make new ones (like WOW or Puzzle Pirates, for example).
Personally, I think that facebook will try not to take so much from the developers that it would depreciate facebook's dignities as a platform; if they do it, in the end they will only damage themselves.
